Shootout..

Singtel SMS Shootout was held on sunday at MOS.

I was the timekeeper for the event and somehow it was not really a good thing..By the end of it all it felt like I was Paralyzed from the waist down..Should have done scorekeeping.

It really is amazing to see how fast one can type their sms as well as see how competitive some people really are.

Apparently the winner broke the world record..Kudos to him.. :)

Mrc3 called yesterday..nice surprise..last time we update each other was about one and half years ago..

Manage to catch P.S I Love You, the movie which was adapted by the book from Cecilia Ahern, the book is a masterpiece but the movie was good only because it managed to capture the essence of the emotions that is portrayed in the book...A touching story..

P/s: Where Did I Go Wrong?

Compassion

There has been some controversy on the funeral held by the zoo for one of its most popular icon Ah-meng. It seems that some feel that it is something unnecessary and that at the end of the day she is just “an animal”.

A little compassion goes a long way..compassion is not only meant for family or friends but for everything around us cause at the end of the day we all are God’s creations.

The death of Ah-meng is likened to the death of someone dear to us. Just like having a pet, we share a bond with the pet that we have, we take care of it, feed it, clean it and so on and at the same time they have impact us in a strong way too, they filled up a place in our heart and losing them is the same as losing a close family member whom we love dearly.

Therefore, there are a lot of people who shared a bond with Ah-meng, who in-turn had made a difference in their life, and one thing for sure is that losing something or someone is painful all the same.

I just feel that it is only fair that those who might not be impacted by her death be a bit compassionate in respecting her right as well as others who have grew fond of her and shared precious memories.
